Derry revs up for The Ulster Rally this August.
The Ulster Rally has been running for almost 40 years and is one of the premier motor rallies in Ireland, being voted the best round of the British Rally Championship for 4 years between 2009-2014. International Rally drivers, competitors and spectators from all over the world will visit Derry to enjoy this sporting occasion.
The route is a round of the Clonakilty Black Pudding Irish Tarmac Championship, The British Rally Championship and the Northern Ireland Rally Championship, which should be a great spectacle. Along Rally route there are spectator areas, where the public can view the event
This year The Ulster Rally Headquarters are located in Derry City at Ebrington Complex., which can be accessed via the iconic Derry Peace Bridge .
The event starts on Friday 19th August with a formal starting ramp at Derry City’s historic Guildhall Square in the centre of the City and it is a one-day event.
